The Bosch Rexroth DRC5-5X/200YSO173 (R900917526) is a sophisticated pressure reducing valve designed for efficient hydraulic fluid control in secondary circuits. This model operates on the basic principle that in its rest position, the valve allows unrestricted flow from channel B to channel A via the main spool insert. The pressure in channel A is balanced by the pressure set at the spring, ensuring that when a specific pressure threshold is exceeded, the control spool moves towards closure to maintain the desired reduced pressure. The DRC5-5X/200YSO173 features an external pilot oil return into the tank, and for free return flow from channel A to B, there's an optional check valve for subplate mounting only. Monitoring of reduced pressure is made possible through a pressure gauge connection.
